Con x Frieren

While I am an avid watcher of amine I have never been to a con before… Well, that was until this past weekend when my friend and his wife invited me to tag along for a day held the Holiday Matsuri. Let me tell you something if you have a chance to go to one of these take it and check it out was genuinely a bast. the people were awesome, the venue was nice, and the cosplays were freaking dope.

While up there I got a chance to shoot a little photo shoot style for everyone’s cosplays. The anime is called frieren, which prior to writing this blog I have heard of but never actually got a chance to watch after being told (an unquantifiable amount of times) that I neeeeeeed to start it. so after the con I decided to give it a shot and damn gotta hand it to these guys it was damn good. key take away is take recommendations from people that cosplay/go to cons they might know a thing or two about what they are talking about. so here are some of the pictures and Ill try and add the reference shots for the ones that have them.

All and all I had a blast but will I go back? will I finish Frieren or will it be one of the anime that I start, love and never finish? will I cosplay if I go next year? find out on the next episode of Dragon ball … yeah ok sorry couldn’t resist the opportunity.

Street Photography Mark 1

While I have been living in Orlando for about 9 years now and downtown for about 3 I haven’t really walked around and enjoyed the downtown life/ views which is something I always wanted to do but just haven’t Otten the chance. Lucky for me I recently reconnected with a friend from work the fruit stand (iykyk) and the rest is history.

While catching up I mentioned how I was trying to get back in photography and how i’ve been doing some shoots here and there. that’s when he mention he just got a new camera and is also jumping back into his creative side and just got a fuji .. What a coincidence ! i Shoot on fuji too (Fuji XT5). Started talking about different types of photograph and his passion for street photography which I knew little to nothing about but I did need an excuse to take camera out and shoot more so I told him if he wanted to take some shots around to let me know. that following weekend we met up downtown by my apartment complex and set off on our adventure

What I really enjoyed about this walk wasn’t just getting to really walk around and see the different parts of downtown I haven’t really gotten a chance to venture to but seeing how his style of shooting was so much different than mine. I have been so use to shooting portraits and events I was so lost trying to shoot but as we shot more and I watched I stared to pick up one some of his methods and style which are heavily influenced by Roman Fox .
